Silent Folds, as inhabitable drawing within the exhibit space, played with perception and folding of space. It accompanied works of other scales exploring the same issues as part of the Thinking Eye Exhibit curated by Jeff Kinzel and Hague Williams.
“Photography emphasizes linear perspective, which is thought to mimic the way the eye processes information. Long-established perceptual models in the other visual arts, too, have influenced how we see and think. Vision, however, is a complicated sense—we perceive optically with the help of a subjective brain that plays a defining role in shaping how we see.” – Jeff Kinzel—for the Thinking Eye
