2010    d3 natural systems 3rd Prize, Sustainable Worldwide Category Jason Butz, Frank D’Andrea, and Carla Landa from my Ecological Cities studio for their Reciprocity: Rethink Consuming project.

 

2009    Self-Sufficient City Competition winner Jason Butz, Frank D’Andrea, and Carla Landa from my Ecological Cities studio received 5th prize amongst 708 proposals from 116 countries for their Reciprocity project. Sponsored by Iaac in Barcelona.

 

2008    Super Crit Silver Prize,  student group: Virginia Black, Hali Knight, Clay Montgomery, Whit Self, Derek Weidner received 2nd prize amongst 4th year design students.

 

2007    St. Petersburg Prize,  student Mark Gettys receives award the highest undergraduate award for his NY Highline project in Arch 351 studio.

 

2007    Stanley, Beaman, Sears/Metal Construction Association Scholarship Award, student Mark Gettys receives award for “best third year project” for his NY Highline project in Arch 351 studio.

 

2007    Alan Thompkins Scholarship Award, student Janis Fowler receives award for her portfolio of work from my Arch 351 studio – swimming/diving pavilion, and NY Highline project.

 

2007    Archiprix 2007 Shangai, student Mike Stopka’s project Transit Hives is selected to compete for the “worlds best graduate project” prize.
